I have updated a SG230 to the 9.4 soft release and a RED 10 we have connected is now listed as offline. I went ahead removed the RED configuration and recreated it but it does not reconnect. I see in the the soft release notes it updates the firmware on the REDs. Not sure if that is where it went bad.
This section of the RED log is where I think the upgrade happens and then it doesn't work after this point

Hi dirkkotte,
which problem do you have? hardware defect or do you see an error in the log-lines?
best regards
Torben
Thanks for your answer.
The error messages are exactly the same from top of threat.
But the problem disappears after 12 hours before we are on site.
regards, dirk
Same problem here since some days:
9.402-7
Some ideas? There is no connection after a restart of the RED by power off an power on again.
Thanks.
Hi Dirk,
could you please describe your environment? There is a problem for RED Sites without DHCP server on the WAN side and with RED10 configured with static IP.
We will delive a fix in the next maintenance release.
You can solve your problem either by use a temporäry DHCP Server or by flashing your RED with most current firmeware release in a manual way. This problem ony hits RED10 in this specific use case.
Greetings
Holger
