SSL Certificate import not working

Question

Hello, 
 when trying to import a new PKCS#12 certificate using the GUI following german error message is displayed: Die VPN-ID muss eine E-Mail-Adresse sein 
 In English: The VPN-ID has to be an e-mail-address. 
 Using the method Upload there is no possibility to set a VPN-ID. I am using firmware version 9.402. 
 Is this a bug and do you have a solution?

Hi, internally the VPN ID is just a copy of the 'Subject' field of the certificate. 
 Maybe you haven't correctly defined the field 'emailAdress' in the Subject of the certificate. I would suggest that you have a look at your certificate and compare it to the standard. If you can't find anything unusual, I would open a support ticket.
