Programmatically Change Host Network Definitions

Question

Hello, could anyone share with a way to programmatically change host definitions in Sophos UTM? In our UTM we have some NAT rules to specific hosts. We've been manually updating these host definitions for the past 7 years. It happens infrequently enough that the manual process isn't terrible. But we're growing every day and I'd really like to automate this process. I'm sure we could avoid this requirement by with some design changes in our AWS environment but that's not an option in the near term. I'm really just looking for a command to update this with instead of using the GUI.

Hello Nolan Brassard , Thank you for reaching out to the community, Best way to understand how you can automate a step is by changing something in the UTM 9 Web-admin and then have a look at what it changed. 
 There are two ways to do this: 
 1.) Using SSH to login to the UTM 9 and then start the utm0:/root # confd-watch.plx 2.) Using the RESTful API , by simply do two requests against /api/nodes one before the Web-admin change, one after and diff the result. Also inspect all newly created referenced objects.
