Possible to delete mails from Quarantine via Commandline?

Hi all,

refering to this thread: https://community.sophos.com/utm-firewall/f/mail-protection-smtp-pop3-antispam-and-antivirus/49608/clean-exim-mail-queue-manually for deleting all mails from Spool, is it also possible to delete mails from quarantine? I have thousands of pages in quarantine, there is one sender, that send massemail and the mails were quarantined. I think the mailadministration in Webadmin is actually not that performant to delete all of them at once....

Does somebody know, if it is possible?

Thanks.

  • Hello,

in case of multiple tenthousands of emails, this is not a sufficient solution. It is not possible to delete much more than 1000 Objects per action, because in that case the webadmin always hangs and then dies.

The only working way in the moment is to manually delete 1000 at a time and then continue....
