I never knew that was an option through the portal.  It's been awhile but I thought the only way to get a 30 day eval was to re-image.

It should be automatic when you apply a fresh image to a machine.

Sophos removed this option. To generate a Trial License, you can contact Sophos Sales with the specific use case of your trial.

no way, they removed it about two months ago without even notifying us partners.

When I noticed it, I asked our german distributor about his ability to help us, but they can't help, too. (At least, not for 30 days ;-)

With still 3 years left (or ONLY 3 years left depending on how you look at it) for the UTM, is Sohos beginning to end support prematurely?

The post which describes the UTM/SG life cycle says that the final day of one year, and one month renewals is June 30, 2025. Maybe this does not apply to evaluation licenses.

On the MyUTM portal there is an email for support for licensing issues.../

No, it is about the approach of doing Trials. As Partners / Customers had the option to generate there own Trials, Sophos removed this option and let it be controlled by Sophos themself.
