Sophos Central Wireless Device Name shows only MAC Addresses

Hello Olaf, 

i recognize the same here. 

I had an APX in parallel and on that one the device names were shown. Devices entering an SSID on the APX are displayed by their hostname, The same devices on a different SSID on the AP6 show only their MAC.

what do we miss?

Did you already find a solution?

hm.. that might be working as desinged. That makes me sad indeed:

here the doc sais: 

" Note: Devices connected to AP6 access points only show the MAC address in this field."

We are currently looking into resolving this. The AP6 backend is reporting only the MAC not the hostname to the Central platform, that is the difference here.
