I have some Sophos AP 55 Access Points and need to perform a factory reset on them. Unfortunately, this model doe not have a reset button. Therefore, I have downloaded the Sophos Flashing Tool but I am struggling to connect to the device. I have connected via ethernet and the AP has power. Although, when I run the tool I get the following error.
There is nothing in the log file. The tool is setting the correct IP address as per the instructions but I just cannot connect. I have created the firmware folder in the same location as the installer as requested. Am I missing a step. Do I need to download some firmware first. Any assistance would be really appreciated. thank you.

Are you able to connect a Console Cable to the AP, and see if it provides any output?
