Release Notes & News: The AP firmware 11.0.018 for Sophos Firewall OS (SFOS)

Hi Community! 

The  AP firmware 11.0.018 has been released for Sophos Firewall OS (SFOS). This pattern update has a fix for APX 120 update issue which was discovered during AP Firmware 11.0.017 release.

Bugfixes:

NAF-143: APX120 firmware upgrade fails after upgrade to WiFi Firmware 11.0.017 and APX120 will become inactive

SFOS Firmware Version:

This release is available to SFOS firewalls running the following firmware versions:

SFOS v15.01 onwards

Install Instructions

On Sophos Firewall web UI, navigate to Backup & Firmware > Pattern Updates.
If the AP firmware version is older than this release, click Update Pattern Now
When ready to deploy new firmware to connected Access Point devices, click Install.
Access Point devices will be rebooted during the firmware installation process

AP Firmware 11.0.018 is not available for me.

I upgrade to 11.0.017, and 11.0.018 is not offers.

11.0.018 appears after some time.

It is very strange, we must upgrade to 11.0.017 (which is broken), and after, upgrade to 11.0.018.

Why not upgrade from 11.0.016 to 11.0.018 ?

Hi,

11.0.017 is no more broken, it is fixed and you may move ahead with update without any issue.
