Use a 4G/LTE connection as primary

Question

Does anyone know what 4G USB Modems are supported and will work with an Australian provider. 
 Is there a compatibility list somewhere? 
 Interested to hear if anyone else has a setup like this on Telstra/Vodafone or Optus.

 In addition to LUk's Suggestion, if your device is not listed. You may check if the device would work on a Linux based system. If it does it is compatible otherwise not.
