Multi-WAN Session issues

When using Multi-WAN and load-balancing sessions have a habit of switching WAN interfaces which causes problem for items like Netflix, Hulu, authenticated downloads and other applications. Please let me know if there is a way to do sticky sessions on outbound connections.

  • Hi Garrod,

    Greetings.

XG will dynamically Load balance the session through Multiple WAN Subnets.

You can route the traffic for Netflix, Hulu, authenticated downloads, etc by creating a separate Firewall Rule with the Destination Source as the FQDN Host,  Server IP address, Network and IP range. Later, you just need to select the Primary Gateway from Load Balance to any one unique External Interface.

This will help you in what you are trying to achieve.

Let me know if you have any further queries on this.

    Thanks
