Error when registering device from Partner Portal

While I was trying to register NFR SW/Virtual Appliance from partner portal site I received this error.

Ticket is already submitted, just wanted to check if there is any other Sophos partner who finished the registration procedure for a XG firewall succesfully.

  • Hi Vilic, if you are still having a problem then feel free to get in touch with me via private message and let me have your partner portal login info (account name / email) and the serial number you were trying to register.

  • I resolved the problem by doing manual registration of device from MySophos account. Now I have another problem with adding the subscription. Submitted ticket number is [#5633016].

    p.s I can't find the option to send PM...:(

  • Thanks Vilic. Ticket number is fine! The reason you are getting this error is because your registered device is 2 Cores 4GB and the license key is for 4 Cores 6GB - when the model doesn't match you will get this error. Looks like there was a little confusion when your NFR order was raised which we will sort out - someone should be in touch with you shortly.
