Can´t block sites by webfilter

Hi,

i´m not able to block sites with webfilter. What i want to do: Block some sites for my childeren.

This is my Setup. I tested this with Google and http://sophostest.com/index.html but nothing works for me.

When i Google "Weapons" and i open some sites, nothing is blocked. WHY?

What i have to do?

    Hi Thomas,

    Greetings.

    In your case, I suggest you to check from which Firewall Rule the Web Requests are forwarded. You can do that by navigating to System > Diagnostics > Packet Capture and click Configure to configure the Capture Filter according to parameters given below.

    Enter BPF String> host x.x.x.x (Source IP)

    You will get an Output when you make a Web Request like:

    You can check the attached Screenshot, where I have highlighted the Rule ID.

    Check if any other Rule ID Forwards the requests, if the configured Rule for blocking weapons category; is not forwarding the requests you can move the Firewall Rule on top and reproduce this event.

    Please delete the Web Cache completely in the Web Browser. 

    Please make sure you have denied the Weapons Category in the XG's Web Filter Policy.
