yes, this is the list i checked.

We have a widely used provider with a AON fiber optic connection .

This must be connected on my opposite side as follows:

Single mode fiber 1000BASE BX10
LC/APC 8&***;
Simplex module, bidirectional

I cannot tell from the list which SFP module offers this, or I have only found duplex modules there in a random sample.

It could also be a UPC connector, since there are adapter cables.

How do I connect a bidi simplex cable as specified above to the Sophos xgs?

Upon updates with our Internal Hardware team.

1. Haven’t tested with any of the BX style modules the customer referenced

2. From a hardware perspective, there is no reason why these modules won’t work with our firewalls. They are SFF form factor, under 1.5W, and 1000Base-X on the host interface. 

3. We can’t recommend a specific module. The BX options (reach) will depend on whatever their ISP requires.

4. Even if the link works from a hardware / electrical perspective, we don’t know what requirements their ISP will require from software perspective. 

In general, we’d suggest customers connect our firewalls to the internet via an ISP provided modem that provides a standard ethernet interface to our appliance. However, there’s no guarantee of success
