Wifi Connected ICON shows offline

Dear Team

can anyone tell us which Web policy blocks or enabled the identification of wifi connected icon in the taskbar. We have to implement tight restriction in our environment due to the fact of education institution. But enabling the policy now resulting us Wifi ICON in tasks bar shows offline. So we would like to know is there any exception can be made for this ?

    we use XG430 Firewall. The issue is when we allow Information Technology in web policy the wifi icon appears to be connected. But we do not want our students to browse anything related to Information technology category so we must block this category on web policy. However, blocking this category also resulting in showing the Wi-Fi ICON disconnected on the computer even though user is connected to internet.

    but what does that have to do with your request?

    Maybe someone turned the AP off or maybe even turned the PoE switch off.
