Wifi Connected ICON shows offline

what does this have to do with Sophos products?

we use XG430 Firewall. The issue is when we allow Information Technology in web policy the wifi icon appears to be connected. But we do not want our students to browse anything related to Information technology category so we must block this category on web policy. However, blocking this category also resulting in showing the Wi-Fi ICON disconnected on the computer even though user is connected to internet.

but what does that have to do with your request?

Maybe someone turned the AP off or maybe even turned the PoE switch off.

Did you read my edited comment? is that not clear to you? I am just trying to say which Web policy is blocking the wifi connectivity icon (note internet is still working though the Wi-Fi icon shows it is not connected) and you are talking completely off topic confusing others as well?
