Firewall templates - Central vs Local settings

Question

I'm testing out the ability to manage base firewall configurations using Sophos Central Templates through the Partner Portal. Everything seems fine if it's a fresh firewall, and all the template policies get applied however if I had an existing configured firewall and add it to this Template group then no setting changes are applied. Does that mean local settings have a higher priority than those applied by Central? Is there any way to force the sync from the Template policy?

Hi ArtL ,

Thank you for reaching out to the community, It is based on the time of the change. For example, if local settings are made at 12:30 and central push is made at 13:30, 12:30 will be performed first. And there is no way to enforce the sync from the template policy.
