Add Access point AP6-420 to Firewall

AP6 series can only be managed via Sophos Central or locally (Directly connecting to the AP)

however, this means that we cannot use the AP6 series, as our customers' active components do not and must not have access to the Internet.
Managing every single AP is not an option either.

Same here.

Yes - increased price, added licence-requirements - but less functionality... EOL AP-Hardware brick... Sophos APs are dead..

The price of AP6 was adjusted, You can find the current price in the current pricelist. 

License requirements were with Sophos for a long time (Called Wireless Protection in UTM). SFOS did not include it within the Firewall (Enhanced Plus Support did the Warranty extension). Now AP6 are covered by a own license to cover Warranty and management. 

EOL Hardware is not bricked (you still can use AP15 if you want), but no flaws will be fixed. If your auditor wants to see EOL Hardware within the network is another story.
