Sophos Central Heartbeat - behind 3rd party firewall?

Hi,

i'm actually setting up Sophos Heartbeat on a Sophos XG135 (Cluster). We're using Sophos Intercept X and Sophos Connect (SSL-VPN) on our clients.

My setup with heartbeat used in firewall rules at our HQ seems to work without any issues; but i've a question regarding branch offices.

We've connected five branch offices via pfSense-IPSec-VPNs to our central Sophos XG135. The branch offices access services in our HQ; so it would be nice to secure the access with heartbeat "green" used in the fw-rules.

Is this possible? Or requires the heartbeat-function a Sophos FW as default gateway on the client side?
