Backup cannot be restored on current Firmware 19.0.1-MR1 to 19.5.2-MR2

Hi,

I got an "old" Sophos XG on version 19.5.2-MR2 that still has the Bug where the temp Storag is tiny (known Bug from Version 18.5). I got the backup to setup a new Firewall with it. Now that i set up that new Firewall i get this message in the restore Backup screen: Backup cannot be restored on current Firmware. The old setup Firewall is on Version 19.0.1-MR1 so i imagined it wouldnt be a Problem to Upgrade from that version.

Is there some sort of workaround or fix for this, or is there something i forgot to change in order for it to work?

If you are able to take a successful backup have you tried to re-image the VM and restore the back up ?

Hello Vivek,

the error message i recieved ,as i mentioned above, was "Backup cannot be restored on current Firmware". I looked up the sources you provided and it confirmed that 19.0 MR1 can be Upgraded to 19.5 MR2. I also checked the amount of interfaces on the VM and both machines got 10 Interfaces.
