SSL VPN config file naming

Hello

is it possible to change the naming of the config file? We are using LDAP as authentication for VPN and the email get's inserted in the filename.

The @ get's displayed as %40 and the OpenVPN Client on Android is not able to import it because of that.

Is there some config I can update via SSH?

Thank you for reaching out to Sophos Community.

Let me ensure I understand you correctly. Are you referring to the .ovpn file name? If yes, this can be changed manually.

Also, make sure to make a backup before any changes are made.

Erick Jan Unbelievable, do you really think that this is an appropriate answer for a business use case?
Today the issue still exists on v20. It seems two month were lost to solve this problem which is a big barrier for normal users.
When can we expect the fix for this bug?

I only see a case open for this in the system, which was opened today; if you’re able to replicate the issue (I haven't been able to), please open a case and share the Case ID with us; I wasn’t able to find a case under the original poster account, or under your account.

emmosophos Strange, that you are not able to reproduce this issue. We have seen this issue in two completely different environments.
In our case we switched from authentication server type AD to LDAP for SSL VPN as a result the OVPN file name has no "%40domain.tld" (@domain.tld) included anymore.
We will not create a case for this issue but we encourage Sophos to really try to reproduce this issue and fix it.
