BGP - exclude a network from learning

Thank you for reaching out to the community, 

1. Select Option 3 (Route Configuration) > Option 1 (Configure Unicast Routing) > Option 3 (Configure BGP)

   You see the following prompt:

   bgp>
   

2. Type enable

   This turns the BGP routing process on and switches to global configuration mode.

the problem is most of the cisco commands are not available inXG CLI. Attaching a screenshot for command "neighbor X.X.X.X route-map  ADVERTISE_TO_NEIGHBOR out"

You can refer the following this might prove useful -  BGP - Route Filters

no luck, they're asking to add command "neighbor <IP ADDRESS> prefix-list deny-route in". There's no such option in CLI.

Hello ce_Sophos , It would be great if you can log a service request, will help expedite the resolution.

I got this working. Just added "prefix-list listname in" after neighbour command. It just worked. Prefix-list command does not show in CLI options. Still worked.
Below is the full config;

router bgp 65000
bgp router-id 169.245.138.125
bgp log-neighbor-changes
no bgp ebgp-requires-policy
neighbor 169.245.138.126 remote-as 64512
!
address-family ipv4 unicast
network 192.168.2.0/24
neighbor 169.245.138.126 prefix-list hodc in
exit-address-family
!
exit
!
ip prefix-list hodc seq 10 permit 10.10.0.0/20
ip prefix-list hodc seq 25 permit 192.168.0.0/24 le 32

**Note the le in prefix-list command is very important. Check www.cisco.com/.../irg_bgp2.html

I got this working. Just entered "prefix-list listname in" after neighbor command. XG CLi would not show this in the options.
neighbor 169.214.179.65 prefix-list listname in

The Configuration options that impact the prefixes (sent/received) would be listed under the respective address family.  In this case, the option "prefix-list" would be listed under "address-family ipv4 unicast" mode. Pls try the following: 

bgp(config-router)#                     

bgp(config-router)# address-family ipv4 unicast

bgp(config-router-af)# neighbor 1.1.1.1 pre

  prefix-list  Filter updates to/from this neighbor

bgp(config-router-af)# neighbor 1.1.1.1 prefix-list my_list out

bgp(config-router-af)#

Even though the CLI doesnt list the "prefix-list" option in the "config-router" mode, on entering the particular command, it is stored under the respective address family.
