Use UTM9 license on XG??

Question

Hi Guys 
 I was wondering if possible to use utm9 license in XG? because we got quote for XG license for a year and it is 3 times more expensive than UTM9. I know under Administration>Licensing there is a place to upload existing UTM9 license. I was just thinking if it accepts UTM9 license, why then to buy XG license so I can avoid paying of 3 times more expensive for it.

any idea if this is possible?

 I thought it'd be straight forward as to download from myutm and upload it, of course wouldn't be that easy!

 you have to convert it to an XG format licence.

 I would suspect once and then the UTM licence is disabled.
