Log Viewer issue

Hello,

I have a XG85 running for a small office.

I decide to check some logs but for my surprise the only thing I can see in the IPS/Admin/Web Filter, etc is this:

Im running the latest firmware.

I can see the packets on the firewall tab but from time to time, I got those square brackets in between the packets.

  • That is not horrible but not the best either.  Just to test it, can you disable a few things like IPS, Content and Malware Scanning for a short period to lower the CPU and memory and then see if the log viewer loads?  It would be interesting to see if it is timing out in some way due the the higher resource usage.

Also, you can fine tweak things such as your IPS to only be protecting the systems/threats you have on your LAN.  For example, you do not need Linux IPS protection if you do not have a Linux box on your LAN.  This can help lower the overall CPU/RAM usage on the firewall.

    Respectfully,
