WAN to LAN server

Hello,

I am attempting to route multiple WAN IP addresses to multiple internal LAN servers. For example, I have 10.1.1.10 as my primary MASQ route for all internet access. I created an alias on the same interface and used 10.1.1.11 which has a firewall rule pointing to 192.168.1.11. When I browse the internet from 192.168.1.11 I show my external IP is 10.1.1.10 however I need it to be 10.1.1.11. I tried creating another MASQ route but didn't see any change.

Any suggestions?

  • Hi Jay,

is the 10 address your real external address or just n example? If it is the real address that means you have another modem performing NAT between the XG and the ISPs network.

Please provide a diagram of what you are trying to achieve and your network interface configuration.

  • Hello,

The 10 address was just an example. below is what I'm wanting to accomplish.

Each internal server should translate the external IP in/outbound traffic to the internal LAN.

  • Hi Jay,

thank you for the diagram, makes assistance so much easier.

Please try using WAF for your external facing servers.
