Realtek 8168 driver

Just attempted to install XG on my system that is running UTM 9.x. Install went ok but the realtek interfaces would not connect or negotiate a proper speed with atone or setting them hard to 1G Full.

I am glad that I used a new drive for the install just for this reason.

I am on the hunt for a dual intel nic (suggestions welcome) to replace my realtek dual nic before I attempt again.

Recommend providing details of what actual hardware is supported since it looks like some device drivers have been removed from what UTM 9.x supports

One of the newer intel chipsets or a broadcom version will work well.

I can't find anywhere to check hardware on my home version. I do know there are a later intel chipset, but which ones?

Ordered a dual port intel NIC that I have bought before (works great with ESXi (5.5 and 6.0). Hopefully this will allow me to get XG running when it gets here.

Thank you for this post - this is exactly the same issue that I am having. Will locate an Intel or broadcom NIC.
