Can I create a route on XG to use RED tunnels on a UTM? If so how?

As XG doesnt have UTM RED Tunnels yet could i create a route for traffic destined to a remote subnet to pass through my old UTM on my LAN?

I cant manage to get this to work, ive tried creating a unicast route on my XG with the destination subnet as the IP and my old UTM as the gateway.  But doesnt work, what am i missing?

Thanks

JK

  • Hi JK,

RED is available on XG, you can find the RED configuration option by navigating to System> Network> Interfaces> RED.

If you want to Route the RED network's traffic, I request you to provide me the configurations details with screen shots.

You can also create a Static Route to forward RED Network's traffic through the Interface, which is directly connected to old UTM.

    Hope that helps.

    Thanks
