[SOLVED] Issues with APs

Hello all,

I've been experiencing some issues lately with APs configured as 'Bridge to LAN'.

First time, I saw the APs as 'Inactive' on the firewall, since we were implementing POL on our network infrastructure I thought this was due to the dBs on the ONTs.

After we fix the dBs issues with the ONTs, I was unable to see the APs as 'Active', I delete those from the firewall to accepted again but now it's not showing APs as 'Pending'.

We have XG 310 - SFOS 17.05 MR5 and 15 AP55C, right now I can only see 10 of 15 APs on the firewall.

  • Already upgrade the firmware 11.0.001
  • Reboot the service on the appliance.
  • Reboot APs
  • All 15 APs have IP

  • Hi,

sounds bad. Have you tried powering them off and on again after a short period. I also found I had to change the 5ghz to manual and 20mhz channels. After acceptance then change the configuration to the required values.

  • I did a restart for all the APs but still got the same behaviour.

I have a similar issue with another AP55C with a different customer, I can't use 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz at the same time on the wireless network so I already open a ticket with Sophos support.

I was in a remote session yesterday with Sophos support to check this issue and they're calling this APs for RMA.

    Thank you for reply Ian.
