- Enabled claiming Firewalls ordered with a future date - When ordering a new firewall, the subscription start date may be set to a future date, allowing firewalls to be purchased ahead of when they will be installed. As of this update, such firewalls may be claimed at any time before the start date set on the order, though only the Base Firewall license will be activated early. Additional subscriptions will activate on the date given when ordered.
- With this change, it is possible to start a trial of any license on a new firewall before the subscription start date as long as the future-dated license key has not been applied (activated).
- Marketplace APIs for firewall - APIs have been added to allow partners to query license information on firewalls enrolled in monthly billing. Documentation will follow soon on developer.sophos.com.
