If you continue to receive this error, I suggest using the steps in the following article to collect a "HAR" log while performing this navigation in to the SMC portal.
- Sophos Central Admin: Access the Developer tools in your web browser and collect a HAR file for escalation
To verify, you are trying to navigate into the Sophos Mobile Control page from Sophos Central, correct?
