I have begun the process of slowly transferring our mobile users to Android Enterprise via Sophos Mobile Central.
Problem is, I have only just discovered that there's no way to restore the backup of their Google account onto a new device because the option to backup is not available on Sophos Mobile Central for the policy.
As you can see from the above, Allow backup is not listed and on the device, it states Backup Services are not available (and is greyed out).
Please can you advise how I go about initializing the backup feature as we have some users who have Google accounts that need to restore their apps and settings from their old devices.PartyCity Feedback

This appears to be a limitation of Android Enterprise. It is not currently possible to use the restore functions if a device is enrolled in the "Android Enterprise Full Device Management" mode.
If you have enabled the "Allow managing Google accounts" option in your restrictions policy, this may allow you to sync contacts, calendars, apps, and browsing history to a device.
