Android Device doesn't get container policy

Hi there,

I've been having problems rolling out the container policy on various Android devices a lot lately.

The device get the android enterprise and the mobile threat policy. But the container policy remains on "no policy received".
I already tried to push the policy again, or restarted the device.
Sometimes it is working if I re-register device 2-4 times.

Is there an workaround to help me here or does anyone have a similar problem?

Any help would be appreciated.

Best Regards,

Jonas

  • It seems that the SSC and SSE app do not communicate correctly with each other during registration.

Meanwhile I get an workaround from the Sophos Support that works for me:

    - You need to unregister the sophos container on the affected device

    - sync the device

    - make sure the policy is not shown anymore in the device details on our sophos server

    - assign the container policy

    - check if the device get the container policy

Hope this will help you to progess with this problem. Sophos is investigating this at the moment.
