Hi, does anyone know how the device would be encrypted once I click the encrypt the whole device during the policy setup? Does it encrypt through the encryption method our phone has or through Sophos, and where would the key be stored?

As per checking, Sophos mobile just uses the encryption provided by the devices - we don’t add anything to the device encryption. Hence the method of encryption is solely being done through your phone.
