I have Sophos Intercept X on some of the phones we use at work.
Due to the nature of the work (education) we have a filter which stops users accessing certain site. This keeps flagging on intercept X as content manipulation.
I've followed the various instructions for adding the root certificate to through policies in Sophos Central but the devices still continue to register as content manipulation. Any ideas where I might be going wrong?
Hi Fiona S
Content manipulation is where an attacker manipulates a website’s content to force you to do harmful actions. Are you using any VPN? Could you please share the screenshot of the warning you are receiving?
No i'm not using a VPN but on that Wifi connection there is a web filter for schools which does content inspection but ideally I want it to trust this filtering system. When i've added the certificates from our filtering system to sophos central policies it still gives this warning.
Could you please share the screenshot of the Sophos Central mobile policy where you have added the certificate? Have you configured a web filtering policy?
Sophos is suddenly prompting for this content manipulation error JCPenney Kiosk. Notice is only happening on my iPhone. I ran a wifi scan from my desktop that doesn't seem to produce any error.
Hi Furman Zboncak
Could you please share the screenshot? What is the website you are using?
The content manipulation alert is shown when an attacker manipulates a website's content to force Sophos Intercept X Mobile Content Manipulation Warning.
