I have seen some discussion here with appear to be almost similar. but not all the way imho :
Situation:
- We use Knox KME to enroll our devices. We have a profile that enrolls a device in Device Owner mode
- I have created a free gmail account and connected is to Sophos->Setup>Android setup-> Android Enterprise to make it an "Managed Google Play Account". I have add 4 apps to it in play.google.com/work
- In Sophos, under the Samsung KME tab I linked the enrollment to a task bundle that I can use to change restrictions and Google Play policy's
I played arround with the policy settings and I know now that ik can choose for a very limmited Google Play option so the user can only install the 4 apps that I offer from play.google.com/work. Or I can open up my Managed Google Play Account so a user can install everything the play store offers without creating his own Google account on the device.
But this raises some questions for me:
If I open up the account and all the enrolled devices (many) wil use all use this same Managed Google Play Account (pushed by Sophos). Will every user see all the installed apps in the Google play library tab from other users?? They are sharing the same Managed Google Play Account....
Testing already showed me that when I install an app, let say Snapchat. And I hard format the device, the app Snapchat shows up in the Google Play library on the device after re-enrollment as a "previosly installed app for this account"
If that is the case, then how can I configure Sophos or the device in such a way, that the end user can add its own private Google account in Play and use that one for all the apps that i'm will not offer with my Managed Google Play Account to ther end user. At this point, I managed to add a second (private) google account, on the device, but I'm unable to switch/select to this second account in the Play app on the device.
