iOS 14 Private addressing disable

Do you want to disable Private address with the help of restrictions(if available) in Sophos central mobile? 

hi we dont have central we only have Mobile control

but yes we want to disbale this, is there an option?

As of now it is not possible to disable private addressing in iOS 14. However, we will check with development team if we can implement this feature in upcoming version release.

thats a massive shame, any wifi that has MAC filtering is now a problem :-(

you have to try this

• Make sure the device is currently connected to your Plume network.
• Open the Settings app, then tap on Wi-Fi.
• Tap on the information button next to your Plume network.
• Tap on the Use Private Address toggle to turn it off, a privacy warning will pop up krogerfeedback.com survey

thanks i know about the manual changes on the device, problem is we have about 3k apple devices and was hoping for a central policy change to fix all.

We will soon be adding the option to disable mac address randomization on iOS. This will be available in the version 9.6 service release of Sophos Mobile, which is planned in the coming weeks.
