How to locate lost Android device

Hi,

I have the Antivirus app installed on my android device running 4.2 KitKat. I did set up all enabled the features below:
Alarm
Locate
Locate at Low Battery
Lock
SIM change detection
Unlock
Unprotect
Wipe
Secure Wipe

Which web link should I go to locate my phone?

On your device, make sure that location services are turned on and that the Sophos Mobile Control app is allowed to use them.

In the Self Service Portal, click My devices and then click the relevant device.

Click Actions and then click Locate.

A task is created and sent to the device.

In the device details, click Location to view the location of your device in Google Maps.

Consider the possibility that thief could reformat the Android. imagine a scenario in which he removed sim card, and when location is not turned on. Would you be able to follow the telephone utilizing Wifi?
