Hi Partners,

Today we published the New and Updated Datto RMM Components to the ComStore.

Updated Components

Sophos Central [WIN] & [macOS]

Scripts updated to ensure proper installation of Sophos Central Intercept X

Sophos Central Monitor [WIN] & [macOS]

Change the name to Sophos Central Install Monitor
This monitor is only used to ensure Sophos is installed on your clients devices

New Components

Sophos Central Status Monitor [WIN]

Dedicated Monitor for the status of the Sophos Central Endpoint
Verifies Sophos Central is Running and Updated
Checks for Threats & Suspicious Detections on the Endpoint
Checks for Reboots Pending and Endpoint in a Unhealthy State
Alerts with extra data in the Alert Details from the Endpoint

Sophos Central Status Monitor [macOS]

Dedicated Monitor for the status of the Sophos Central Endpoint
Verifies Sophos Central is running. Up-to-Date coming soon!
Checks to ensure the Sophos Central Extensions were enabled

The integrations documentation has also been updated for these New Components. Here

There are 6 Components. 2 Installers (Windows/macOS), 2 Install Monitors (Windows/macOS) which can be used with the Installers and then 2 Status Monitors that look at the Endpoint Status and Health. This is not used with the Installer and provides info only.

Steve... to confirm the above, we are currently using the "Sophos Central Install Monitor" to verify if Sophos is installed, and to auto install if it is not. Should we be switching to "Sophos Central" ? IM just not clear on which component is the "preferred" to use for this purpose.

Tamper Protection checks will be added on the next update. The logic will create an alert for Not Installed and Running,Threats, Tamper Protection Disabled, Software Status not good, etc.. Reboot Required will be added to the Protected Status, but will be appended with Protected (Reboot Required).

Yes, you will get an Alert if that if how the Monitor is setup that a device is pending a Reboot. It you don't create alerts then it will just be a notice on the monitor that a device is pending a reboot.
