Overview
Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policy string matching based on keyword and/or regex works only with UTF-8 encoded message.
What to do
If you observed that it is not working as expected, then first verify the email header to see which encoding is set.
If encoding is set to something else than UTF-8, then set it to UTF-8 in the respective sender’s email client application and verify again.
This behavior is currently a product limitation.
