This post is meant to bring up the discussion of current issues with the email gateway product in Sophos Central.
- Emails not being delivered to Recipient, even though the status is marked "success".
- Sophos (email gateway) support limited L1/L2 access to back-end in order to help customers.
- Product is very limited in what we can administer, log, and troubleshoot routing errors.
- Self-serve user login issues or email setup link issues.
Features that would be helpful:
- The ability to allow end users rights to allow/block email addresses (eh, maybe global admin option to toggle on domains as well)
- Feature update to select multiple emails, in self serve, to either delete or release.
- Allow admins to see what the algorithm spam "scale" is for emails.
- Access to see the source headers for troubleshooting.
- Spoofing (tagging) option to mark subject as desired by customer.
- Ability to bypass email gateway, in its entirety, for specific domains.
