How to determine if the Mailbox is Licensed and Unlicensed?

Hi all,

Just wonder if how can I determine if the Mailbox is licensed or unlicensed? and what is the indicator that the mailbox is unlicensed? Since some of my licensed mailbox is inactive but still consuming the license.

Thank you so much.

Basically, as soon as a mailbox receives an email, it is licensed.

If it has been 30 days since a mailbox last received an email, the license drops off.

If the mailbox is deleted altogether, the license will drop-off within 4 hours, or whenever the next sync occurs.

In your case, I'd hazard a guess that your inactive mailbox has been active and received an email in the last 30 days.
