Sophos Central E-Mail Routing with a 2nd onPrem E-Mail Gateway

Hello,

we are planning to switch from Sophos SG/UTM E-Mail Gateway to Sophos Central E-Mail. In between of our E-Mail Servers and the Sophos SG/UTM E-Mail Gateway there is another E-Mail Encryption Gateway, where emails are getting routed through.

Does anyone know how to setup Sophos E-Mail Central in this scenario? Or should we just forward everything from Sophoas E-Mail Central to our current Sophos SG/UTM E-Mail Gateway, which sends emails do 2nd Gateway and then to E-Mail Servers?

Thank you very much in advance.

Regards

Peter

  • Hello there,

I recommend you contact your Sales Engineer for suggestions on your setup.

I would personally configure my MX records to point to Sophos Email, so the Sophos Email receives all the email and then passes it down to the Sophos UTM, working only as a Gateway and without any Email protection, configured only with a DNAT for the email ports, that pass it down to your second Email Encryption provider.

    Regards,
