Manage behaviour of Outbound filters

Hello all, we have a customer whose outbound emails go through Email Security.

Some of them are deleted because they are seen as confirmed spam even if they are not (the sender receives a mail notification).

I tried putting the recipient domain in the exclusion list, lower the action in the Base Policy but the messages are still deleted.

Are the mail policies effective at all for outgoing emails? If so, what's the best way to allow a list of recipients?

Thank you.

  • Hello there,

Thank you for contacting the Sophos Community.

If your outbound emails are being deleted as "confirmed spam," you should get a ticket open with support, providing a sample of one of the emails that were sent and deleted as SPAM.

Most likely, something within the email itself, a URL, or a Signature is triggering this.

The Email Policy doesn’t apply to outbound emails.

    Regards,
