Sophos Email customers using IP-based mailflow rule connectors must migrate to certificate-based configuration by March 31st. To see if you're affected Click Here.

Hi Everyone,

We are pleased to announce the General Availability (GA) for Sophos Email Mailflow Rules (MFR).

Sophos Email Mailflow Rules (MFR) integrate directly with Microsoft 365 (M365) and use Microsoft Exchange Connector Services to route messages to Sophos Central for inspecting emails for spam, malware, phish and other advanced threats. Sophos Email customers using Microsoft 365 can now benefit from inbound and outbound email protection without the need to redirect their MX records. This saves time for them and reduces the risk of misconfiguration.

Set up domains for use with Mailflow

Customers can easily enroll new domains or update existing domains from the Sophos Gateway setup to the MFR process in Sophos Central, and all policy settings are retained. Mailflow will also enable customers to protect a subset of mailboxes from the domain if required. To do so customers simply create a new group in M365 and add selected mailboxes that will benefit from Sophos protection. After M365 users and groups are synchronised in Sophos Central this group will be available for policy configuration.

If you're already using Sophos Email and want to set up Mailflow rules on a new domain or migrate existing domains from Gateway to Mailflow, go to Add and configure domains (existing Sophos Email user)

If you've just subscribed to Sophos Email, and have no domains set up yet, go to Add and configure domains (new Sophos Email user)
