Sophos protection issue

Hello,

We are suddenly getting this error when running the installer on 2012R2 servers, we have not seen this on other OS'

"License is not valid.

You are not licensed to install any products provided by this installer on this computer. check your licensing in Sophos central"

My licensing dashboard shows

#Intercept X Advanced with XDR

#Intercept X Advanced for Server with XDR

Both have ample remaining licenses.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Thank you for reaching out to the Sophos Community forum.

The standard support for Windows Server 2012 and 2012 R2 ended in October 2023. You'll need to have an Extended Support license. You may refer to the following article for more information:

I have read that this morning, will an Extended Support agreement show up in licenses?

Yes, the extended support license will be displayed on the Licensing page in Sophos Central.
