Recovering bricked access points

1. Download and extract the Sophos Flashing Tool.
2. Run Sophos Flashing Tool.exe.
3. Connect the access point directly to the computer's ethernet port using an ethernet cable.
4. Select the network interface to which you connected the access point.
5. Click Connect.

For step 3, you can't use an intermediate PoE switch, it has no power adapter port, so how can this process be completed when no power is supplied to the WAP?

For specific WAPs, there is no AC adapter to power on WAP, so this entire process is flawed.
