Automatically enrolling new users in a campaign

Are you utilizing Phish Threat V1 or V2?

If you are utilizing V2 (within central admin), unfortunately this isn't possible as V2 leverages Central's user system. You would need to manually add these users over from Available Users to Campaign Recipients. 

However, if you are utilizing V1 (window pop-out): Navigating to Settings > General Settings > New Employees. Allows you to select a specific campaign to be used for new employees.

Is this something being worked on for V2; to eventually track new users for possible initial campaign trainings?  Or in V1, are those trainings/campaigns being updated to use as a possible way of managing new users and can I use V1/V2 intermittently?  Thank you.

is this answer still valid? In the meanwhile, according to this thread (https://community.sophos.com/products/phish-threat/f/forum/113307/ad-integration-and-feature-roadmap) Central AD Synchronization is now compatible with Phish Threat.

I'm asking because last week I started a campaign (with Auto-enroll option enabled) and I enrolled users by adding a couple of AD groups, synced via AD Sync Utility. After a few days, a new user was added to one of the gruop, the AD Sync Utility did its job and the user is listed in the Sophos Central synced group as expected. However, the new user is not listed between the users involved in the campaign.
