Product line-up - where's the on-premise SESC?

Hello all,

just took a look at the Products line-up and On-Premise (SESC) seems all but gone. Saw the term on-premise only under Intercept X for Server but there only denoting on-premise servers as opposed to cloud instances - not referring to the management console. SESC is gone from the Data Sheets (e.g the Server Datasheet, I still have the version from not-too-long ago) and Buyers Guides - that, BTW, look like a q&d (mostly) cut and paste job.

Does this mean SESC has been discontinued without warning? If it were only the line-up I would ascribe it to an accidental drop due to redesign and wouldn't worry. The datasheets suggest it's not an accident though. Or will it at least for a while live on as a "hidden" product available only to existing customers?

  • Hi Christian,

Thank you for bringing this to our Notice. I would like to reassure you that there has been no official decision so far regarding retirement of On premise version of Sophos endpoint. It is still available for Trial, although, requires few more steps than usual and its relevant documentation and datasheets are available too!

You can access Sophos Endpoint On premise - Trial here.

Additionally, Exploit Prevention (On Premise equivalent of Sophos endpoint) datasheet is available here.

We are working on getting the documents updated and I have raised it to our Website Team. Kindly bear with us while we get this addressed with their help. I have specifically taken note of the unavailability of Server datasheet link for exploit prevention and will get back to you with an update once they get back to me.
