Adding Linux support to a Server supporting Windows & Mac

 I have a Sophos 5.3.1 Server supporting 8000 Windows and 400 Mac devices. This is working fine. Now I want to add 120 Linux Clients to the same environment. Is it possible without reinstalling the Server and the Update Managers? What would be a brief list of steps and can the Linux machines use the same update managers? Any Official/Unofficial/partial guides for a similar version number would help. What would be the answer for this parameter when installing Linux machines: Website or directory from which to update? Presently I am using a \Servername\Share format for update locations in my windows clients. Can it be used for Linux or I have to set the http option? 
 If SMB shares work then what is the format to specify and the changes to be made on existing servers? TIA.

 first of all, 5.3.1 has already been retired - you should consider upgrading to a current version. 
 The Linux CIDs will be placed alongside those for Windows and Mac 
 
 when you add the product to your subscription(s) 
 
 For installation follow Installing an Enterprise Console managed endpoint with Sophos Anti-Virus for Linux (note that in item 3. under Option 1 you have to cd to sophosupdate/CIDs/S nnn /savlinux/ ). No changes to your updating policy is required (assuming your Linux endpoints can resolve \Servername , if the FQDN is required you can use it for your Windows/Mac endpoints as well).
