Configure - settings greyed out

Question

I'm sorry 
 I want to access CONFIGURE On-access Scanning, but it I can't, it's gray colored. 
 I use Windows 10 and Sophos version 10.7 
 How to disable on-access scanning if configuration is cannot be accessed?

Have a read at our KB article: How to configure Sophos On-access Scanning 
 This article points out a few pre-requisites to configure this: 
 
 You must have the ' Policy setting - anti-virus and HIPS ' right to perform this task. 
 You cannot edit a policy if it is applied outside your active sub-estate.
