Primary SUM Machine Not Updating after Upgrade

Hi All,

I am currently in the process of upgrading from SEC 3 to 4.5.

I have now got to the point where im trying to configure SUM (Non of my old policies could be migrated)

Problem is that my Primary Sophos Update Manager will no update from the internet.

SUM is telling me "Software delivery Failed" Further details says the following:

I have tried following the KB article here: http://www.sophos.com/support/knowledgebase/article/66176.html to no avail.

I had a look in the SUM log viewer and it says the following.  But im not sure what it means.

Update Errors

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Hello Mark,

    you should check the SUMTracexxxx.logs for details. Search for the first occurrence of failed around the timestamp of the error.  Usually there is some additional information about the error nearby.

    Here we go.  The main error seems to be synch errors.

    I have checked the Folder securtiy on the Sophos Udate manager warehouse and it all looks ok.

    Is it really only 4 digits or is the line truncated? If it's looking for this folder no wonder it can't be found.

    All I can say that it fails synchronising SAV9.5 and as this didn't work it skips the other products. It's long since I had similar problems and I simply deleted the Warehouse folder (on another occasion also Working and CIDs) though I've never touched the .xml files in SUM's directory. But you say you've already done this ...
